The Ledges Golf Course

The Ledges Golf Course comes with unique views of its own.

North of St. George (just off of SR-18), The Ledges Golf Club is perched along cliff sides adjacent to Snow Canyon State Park, Zion National Park’s “little brother.” This proximity makes The Ledges a stunning combination of unique and picturesque.

Beauty is not the only thing to behold at The Ledges, though; the course itself is filled with difficult greens, well-placed bunkers, and plenty of other challenges that inspire golfers to compete almost as much as the scenery does.

The first signature hole, hole 11, is a par-5. It traverses up a hill, featuring a wide tee shot with bunkers on the left side. Hole 11 also demands strength. If golfers don’t hit the fairway quickly enough, it is difficult to recover.

Following quickly after is hole 12, known for its exceptional views. In addition to the stunning visuals, hole 12 offers plenty of challenge at the green. It is slanted from left to right, forming a diagonal elevation pattern that is notoriously difficult to navigate.

Finally, the definitive signature hole at The Ledges is hole 14 – a short par-4. It features a very narrow green, requiring precise aim and a straight shot. Golfers are often tempted to use a longer shot, but a steep, cliffside dropoff awaits those who swing too close to the sun.

At every hole, you will be accompanied by stunning visuals of Snow Canyon State Park, where rich history collides with captivating geology and a never-ending well of outdoor activities from which to choose. Play with a cliffside view, and dive into the landscape once your round is complete. Everything from e-biking and leisurely hiking to horseback riding and high-adventure climbing awaits you just below the ledges.

Additionally, The Ledges Golf Club does have a full-service restaurant onsite, Fish Rock Grille. The menu features a wide variety of dining options from upscale dishes to casual snacks, and every option pairs perfectly with a round or two of excellent golf. Whether sitting on their patio or indoors, you’ll still be immersed in the beautiful red-rock surroundings.

With all of these outstanding activities and offerings, it can take more than just a few hours to enjoy everything The Ledges has to offer beyond the fairways. Luckily, they offer stay-and-play packages and vacation rentals to accommodate visitors with more extensive itineraries.
