Group-Friendly Accommodations

Your event competitors, spectators, fans, and crew are going to need a home away from home. Event Venues

Greater Zion offers a wide range of meeting spaces that are built to facilitate innovative conversations, draw the outdoors in, and leave attendees feeling inspired. These spaces provide meeting planners with a vast selection of venues including the Dixie Convention Center, the Grafton Building, five major conference hotels, and more than 25 unique venues or hotels with smaller meeting space. These facilities are designed to enliven creativity for all events.

Conveniently located in Southwest Utah, Greater Zion is easily accessible with major access points along the I-15 corridor. The region is located approximately 100 miles north of Las Vegas and just a short 90-minute drive from Harry Reid International Airport. St. George Regional Airport (SGU) is located six miles southeast of St. George with nonstop flights to and from key hubs such as Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Dallas/Ft. Worth. Zion National Park, the third most visited National Park, is our premier attraction—yet it’s only the beginning. With 14 top-rated golf courses, world class cultural performances at Tuacahn Center for the Arts, and four state parks, Greater Zion has plenty for the group to experience before, during, or after the meeting or event.

Permits & Funding

The collection of communities that is Greater Zion host a variety of special events each year and a permit portal direct you to the necessary permits for your event. Support funding may also be available to facilitate your sporting activity through the Greater Zion Convention & Tourism Co-op Marketing Sponsorship Program. Marketing & PR

If you’re looking for local publicity and local involvement, the Greater Zion team can connect you to local and statewide media outlets and resources, Chambers of Commerce and other organizations.

Use our Greater Zion Event Calendar to see what else is happening while you’re in town for a meeting or post your event to attract visitors.

In addition, the team can offer:

  • Creation and distribution of event press releases
  • Assisting with local, non-paid media coverage
  • Promotion via social media and email marketing
  • Assistance with photography, graphic design and video promotion
  • Local signage, welcome banners, and community awareness campaigns
  • Event listing and promotion on website calendar and social media platforms

Show them where you’re going to be when you’re granted access to Greater Zion’s images, videos, and promotional copy for your pre-meeting publicity efforts. Our team can help you craft promotional tools or even an attendee website, and solicit welcome letters from our team or various municipalities.
