Legacy Lecture Series

The Legacy Lecture Series will be held at 12:00 p.m. on the 1st Monday of each month, in the basement of the Tabernacle, starting on October 3rd. The lectures will focus on issues of the past as well as some that are more current.

The first Legacy Lecture will be presented by Gail Smith, who, along with her husband, the late Hyrum Smith, became successful entrepreneurs and generous philanthropists. Among other things, they were responsible for helping create the Southern Utah Treasure, Tuacahn.

Gail will speak about the inception and creation of Tuacahn, as well as how it came to be a premier theater in Utah.

Come and enjoy a firsthand account of how it all came to be, from conception to reality, from one who helped make it all happen.
