St. George Dance Company’s “The Casecracker – A Murder Mystery Nutcracker”

The Saint George Dance Company is partnering with the Utah Food Bank with their production of “The Casecracker” a Nutcracker Murder Mystery.”

Preview is free at the Kayenta Performing Arts Center, Wednesday December 6 at 7:30pm for attendees that bring a non-perishable non-expired food item to donate to the food bank. Seats are on a first come basis and the doors open at 7:00pm.

“The Casecracker” regular performance schedule is December 7, 8, 9 at Kayenta Fine Arts Center at 7:30pm with a matinee performance on Saturday, December 9 at 2:00pm. Doors open 30 minutes prior to show and guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation and to attend in Holiday themed attire or costume for an opportunity to win a prize.

“The Casecracker” is St. George Dance Company’s silly sequel to the classical ballet, the Nutcracker. Told through contemporary dance, the beloved characters of the Land of Sweets are united for the wedding of the heroine, Clara, and the Nutcracker Prince. Everyone (well note EVERYONE) in the Land of Sweets is overjoyed and you are invited as an honorary guest to the wedding. Drama, Intrigue, and even murder threaten to ruin the festivities – Help Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, the Sugarplum Fairy and all the classic Sweets crack the case and save the wedding! Guess “who-dunnit” and their motive and win a prize!
