El Cappuccino serves bold coffee and made-from-scratch breakfast plates each morning, then shifts into smash burgers, sandwiches, and slow-smoked barbecue as the day goes on. The patio overlooks the surrounding cliffs, making it a good stop to fuel up before exploring places like Smithsonian Butte or Gooseberry Mesa.

Water Canyon Winery is a working vineyard in Hildale, where a family-run team crafts natural wine with as little intervention as possible. Walk-ins are welcome for a wine tasting flight or a charcuterie board built for sharing, no reservation required.

Full meals at the on-site Winery Cafe are reserved for larger groups, parties of ten or more, so smaller groups should plan on a tasting-and-small-bites visit rather than a sit-down dinner.

Jan’s Diner, is a diner tucked inside Little Creek Station in Apple Valley. The menu leans into its Western setting with burgers like the M-16 spicy chicken sandwich and the Sitting Bull roast beef melt, plus a buffalo burger regulars call one of the best in the valley. Order at the counter, grab a patio table, and refuel before continuing deeper into Greater Zion.
