This cool treat is made from a slice of pie from the popular Veyo Pies blended with ice cream. Not only is the shake fantastic, but so is the scenery. You’ll be eating this shake next to a beautiful pool located in an amazing canyon!

What’s a Gelata you might ask? Custard + Italian Ice all in one! You get the best of both worlds with this frozen treat!

Wanting a healthier cool treat? Look no farther than the Orange Peel! This Best of State winner has so many good options, but the Big Red is my personal favorite!

Known for their soft cookies, but make it even better with a large scoop of ice cream sandwiched between two of them! 

This fun barn is a unique place to get ice cream as well as gifts and fresh produce. They have lots of homemade ice cream choices! Another great cool treat is their Apple Cider Slush!

These delicious ice cream shakes are no ordinary shakes. They are made crazy by topping them with cookies, slices of cake, candy, whipped cream, and more. They often feature different flavors depending on the time of year. 

Located in Hurricane, we’ve found this diner to be worth the drive from St. George. They serve breakfast all day long with plenty of other diner favorites too. We have found the food to be excellent and the service top notch!

This beautiful restaurant serves up some of our favorite cuisine in all of Greater Zion. They source their ingredients regionally so everything is very fresh. They have an in-house bakery where they make all of their own breads and biscuits. (You must try the biscuits with the homemade jam!) Everything is delectable, but the Croque Madame should not be missed!

You haven’t lived until you’ve tried Kneaders chunky cinnamon French toast! The thickest, softest French toast you will ever find. Topped with their homemade caramel syrup, strawberries and whipped cream. Did we mention it’s all you can eat? They also have some lighter choices on their breakfast menu, but we can never pass up the French toast!

Tias is the newest restaurant and bakery on this list. They feature some unique, fresh choices and serve breakfast all day long! We love their avocado toast, but the Nutella waffles, Nutella French toast, and their omelets also look amazing.

Imagine enjoying breakfast out on the patio with views of Zion National Park. That’s what you’ll find at Oscar’s! Known as one of the best restaurants in Springdale, they serve up some mouth-watering breakfasts that you are sure to love. Try a large breakfast burrito or, if you want something sweeter, maybe the Frosted French Toast will satisfy your sweet tooth – it’s dipped in Frosted Flakes!

What once was a popular food truck has now become a popular plant-based restaurant in St. George! We love the acai bowls, the avocado toast and the vegan nachos!

This family-friendly restaurant is sure to have something for everyone. From salads to power bowls to burgers to pasta – all with a healthy twist – you’ll be sure to find something to accommodate your diet! 

Mixed Greens

This family-owned business is popular with locals looking for a healthier meal. They serve up delicious salads and warm bowls that will leave you satisfied and wanting to come back for more! 

Ahi’s Taste of Asia

This yummy Asian restaurant has many different choices including quite a few healthy options. Their menu features many Asian-inspired salads, rice bowls, plenty of veggie dishes and they are very accommodating when it comes to customers’ dieting needs. 

Viva Chicken

This Peruvian rotisserie chicken restaurant has many fresh and tasty choices. We absolutely love the quinoa-stuffed avocado and the Tacu Bowl! Their unique sauces are also a must try! 

Hawaiian Poke Bowl

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Greater Zion. The owner is a native Hawaiian and makes excellent poke bowls, in fact many people will tell you it tastes just like the poke you find in Hawaii. These rice bowls are fresh, healthy and delicious! 

FeelLove Coffee

You won’t find just coffee at this unique shop, you’ll also find some really good food! They feature mouth-watering breakfasts, flavorful lunches and delightful pastries, including many vegan, gluten-free and keto options. They have locations in both St. George and Springdale. 

Main Street Café

This cozy cafe in downtown Hurricane is a great spot to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. They feature plenty of healthy dishes including gluten-free and vegetarian options. We also love that they have a quaint, outdoor dining area.

Pig’s Ear American Bistro

This restaurant is fantastic! Every dish is beautiful and delicious. Their menu features a wide variety of choices including many for the health-conscious individual and the not-so-health-conscious individual. It’s also worth noting that they have beautiful mountain views! 

Cafe Soleil

This Springdale cafe uses healthy, organic and local ingredients whenever possible. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices. It’s also just steps away from Zion National Park!
