Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club

A Premier Utah Golf Experience

Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club is the only truly private golf club available in Greater Zion, offering above-and-beyond customer service and attention to detail for members and onsite guests in St. George. A lodging stay at the Inn at Entrada includes access to the otherwise private course. Stay to play.

The course is phenomenal, posing just the right amount of challenge to any golfer who dares to take on the fairways. With perfectly manicured grass, fast greens, black-lava-rock features, and views of red-rock mountains in the distance, Entrada is a gem in the crown of the Greater Zion golf scene.

Hole 3 is unique, orienting golfers to swing toward the incredible views of Snow Canyon State Park in the distance. The first stroke off the tee requires golfers to navigate over a water feature, creating a beautiful picture of desert ruggedness that contrasts artfully with the manmade oases. Don’t let the captivating scenery distract you, though; the length of hole 3 demands strong, strategic drives.

Water is a recurring element at Entrada, with another signature hole, hole 7, requiring strictly straight shots in order to avoid the beautiful, yet hazardous, waterfalls that surround golfers from both sides. Golfers also have to be mindful of a subtle dogleg near the end of the hole, which requires tactful adjustments and a keen aim.

Following quickly is signature hole 8, a long par-3 that increases the challenge significantly. It has been known to puzzle even the most astute golfers, sometimes forcing them to settle for a bogey or worse. The high tee at the beginning of the hole offers views of every stunning feature Greater Zion is known for, including red rocks, snow-capped mountain ranges, and black lava rock; however, the views can be deceiving. Even from the higher vantage point, it is difficult to hit the green – the serenity that the scenery creates does well to ease the pain of a difficult round, though.

Entrada does have an onsite restaurant for members and their guests. Non-members, don’t fear, feel free to explore nearby dining options.
