Copper Rock Golf Course

Located in the backyard of Sand Hollow State Park among the Hurricane Cliffs, Copper Rock Golf Course is a links-style course offering a classic golf experience, but still featuring some modern elements. It is the perfect balance of unique yet traditional layouts, upscale yet friendly accommodations, and challenging yet approachable greens. 

Hole 12 is a par-5 up the hill. It’s lengthy and one of the most elevated parts of the golf course, but panoramic views – including a waterfall – surround you through the entire round. The green looks back at the tee box, creating an especially incredible view of both the man-made and natural surrounding features. 

Hole 8 is positioned against a mountainside, incorporating an elevated tee at the beginning of the round that contrasts nicely with the blind uphill approach that is required soon after. As golfers look back, views of the mountain range applaud their precision and fill them with inspiration.

Of all the exceptional holes on Copper Rock’s course, 17 is undoubtedly the signature. It features the highest point on the course, with a view overlooking the entire front nine, the lakes of holes 9 and 18, and expansive Greater Zion scenery.  

Copper Rock does have an onsite restaurant, the Copper Rock Cafe. Before or after your round, you can grab a drink or enjoy one of their famous sandwiches. Other menu options include wraps, burgers, brats, and a wide selection of appetizers.
