Until 1967, Kolob Canyons was one of the hardest places to reach in southern Utah. Even now, with easy access from I-15 at Exit 40, few people make the short five-mile drive to experience this hidden gem.

This presentation will cover key events in the history of Kolob Canyons over the last 200 years. The presenter has explored this area for nearly 50 years and will share stories and highlights of its incredible waterfalls, natural arches, deep canyons, petrified wood, and more. It’s a great chance to learn about one of Zion National Park’s most overlooked wonders.
