Trail Overview

What to expect

The terrain does the work here. Purple, yellow, cream, and rust-colored rock rushes by as you roll over gentle hills and chunky rock sections. A few steady climbs will get your heart rate up, but nothing that will make you curse the trail builders.

Built to National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) race standards, this course still rides easy for everyone. Most of the trail runs blue and green, fast and flowy, with a few sections built for riders ready to push harder, so first-timers and seasoned racers can share the same six miles.

Upcoming Events

Greater Zion is a serious mountain bike destination, and the races prove it. A course built to NICA standards means real competition. And real competition draws a crowd that fills hotel rooms and local restaurants, while keeping top-tier racing close to home for locals.

Here’s what’s on the schedule:

  1. Utah High School Cycling League State Championship

The Utah High School Cycling League State Championship crowns the state's top mountain bike riders. Middle and high school athletes qualify through a season of regional races before competing for the title.

Full schedule and registration details are available on the Utah High School Cycling League site.
