Bloomington Country Club

As the second course ever built in Greater Zion, Bloomington Country Club has been contributing a strong sense of community and excellent, user-friendly greens to the golf scene since its establishment in 1969. From golf’s humble beginnings to the prestigious reputation Greater Zion golf has today, Bloomington Country Club has seen it all – and managed to keep pace with its newer counterparts thanks to some fresh renovations in 2019.

Bloomington Country Club features superb green undulation, fairway bunkers, greenside bunkers, and a pleasant contrast between the green fairways and the more yellowish Bermuda roughs. While Bloomington is generous off the tee, beware of the strategic placement of hazards around the greens.

Hole 9 is the star of Bloomington Country Club. The long green invites golfers to test the strength, precision, and distance of their swing. It’s a par-4 with a straightforward design, yet its length and water features provide just the right amount of challenge. The allure of the ninth isn’t just in its playability, but in the spectacular views it offers featuring the Virgin River, the picturesque Bloomington neighborhood, and red-rock views in the distance. Hole 17 presents its own challenges in addition to the spectacular views, featuring a 61-yard deep green with an incline in the middle, allowing for play to fluctuate anywhere from 130 yards to 180 yards.

Besides the excellent golf and signature holes, Bloomington Country Club has villas available for stay-and-play getaways, scrumptious dining options, a pool, and membership packages that grant access to all of the above. Non-members are welcome to join club members as guests or explore other nearby dining options.
