Ride to Zion National Park for Free on Labor Day

Ditch Your Car. Washington County is covering the fare from St. George to Springdale this Labor Day weekend.

For these two days, St. George Shuttle runs the same route and stops on the SunTran Zion Route. If the bus that pulls up says St. George Shuttle instead of SunTran, that’s the right ride.

Where to Park

Boarding is open at every regular stop.

Shuttles run the full Zion Route, so you can board wherever is closest. Free parking is available at each stop.

Good to Know

  • ZWB runs between Virgin and Springdale only and does not serve St. George, Washington, Hurricane, or La Verkin.
  • Schedules are approximate. Arrive at least 5 minutes early, as buses may run slightly ahead of or behind schedule due to traffic.

Once you reach Springdale

From the bus to Zion Canyon

  1. Step off the bus at Lion Boulevard in Springdale, utah

    This is the last stop on the Zion Route.

  2. Catch the free Springdale shuttle at Whiptail Grill

    No fare, no reservation. This shuttle runs the length of town and stops at the Zion Canyon Village for the pedestrian entrance to the park.

  3. Walk into Zion National Park

    Cross the bridge over the Virgin River to the entrance gate, pay the pedestrian fee, and pick up the Zion Canyon shuttle just outside the Visitor Center.

Ride beyond Labor Day

Free this weekend. Here every day after.
