Greater Zion Stadium

*For booking information please go to Utah Tech’s booking page

Home of Utah Tech University football and soccer, Greater Zion Stadium (formerly Trailblazer Stadium) has played site to numerous Utah Tech memories since its construction in 1985.

It hosted classic junior college rivalry games over the years and was the site of the Dixie Rotary Bowl until 2008. The stadium was built to a donation at the bequest from the George T. Hansen Foundation – a charitable foundation in Salt Lake City, who gives money to school related activities. The Stadium features the Grandstand on the west side that seats 6,500 fans. Additionally bleacher seating was added prior to the 2011 sports season on the east side for visiting fans during football games. The playing surface was upgraded in 2011 to Field Turf – the same surface found at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., and used in Super Bowl XL.
