Most of Pine Valley Mountains are part of the National Forest System land managed by the US Forest Service. Brooke will be discussing the watersheds of this mountain that are managed by the Forest Service and the science behind how these watersheds function and the influences that impact their functioning.
About the presenter:
Brooke Shakespeare is a hydrologist that has been working for the Dixie National Forest for over 13 years. He received hi B.S. and M.S. degrees in Watershed Science from Utah State University. Prior to working for Dixie he worked for the Bureau of Reclamation in Klamath Falls, OR, BLM in Roseburg, OR, and the Forest Service in Lakeview, OR.
