EVENT CANCELED
Dr. Candice Hansen-Koharcheck is a senior scientist at the Planetary Science Institute and will lecture on The Juno spacecraft entering into a polar orbit around Jupiter in 2016 carrying JunoCam, a visible light camera. You are invited to process JunoCam images. This partnership has resulted in a unique blend of science and art. Enhanced color image processing by volunteer citizen scientists brings out subtle detail in the clouds and storms. Contributions by artists yield products suitable for framing and help us all to appreciate the beauty of the largest planet in our solar system.
This lecture will begin at 7:30 pm on March 29th. An informal gathering begins at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 including refreshments.
