This exhibit will highlight the disparity that exists between male and female artists in Utah where 60% of the artists are female but on average 70% of the artists exhibited are male. This will give Utah women artists an opportunity to share what it is like to be a woman living in Utah today. Each artist will provide a piece that discusses her view of her role as a woman. With a nod to the contemporary women’s movement, each artist will include something pink in her work.
