Photography Symposium May 17-19, 2019

Have you ever wondered that maybe you have the gift of photography or just wondered if you could develop an eye for photography whether you use your phone or a professional camera? Does the idea of spending a week-end talking about how photography can affect your life either as a fulfilling hobby or as a career? Many painters use their own photos to design their work and this symposium will increase the quality of those photos. Those of us who live here in the St. George have a tremendous opportunity to do just that in May 2019.
Spending time talking with other budding photographers and professionals from all over the country will allow our residents here in St. George a chance to make life long contacts. May 17-18, 2019 offers a symposium on photography for $125.00 per participant that would cost ten times that anywhere else. Through a grant from the Tourism Department we are able to offer this for a remarkably reasonable price. An event like this elsewhere would est.. $1200.00.
Two internationally known photographers will be leading our learning through an engaging and memorable time together at the Electric Theater Center in downtown St. George. Along with the photographers will be vendors who will be there to help with questions about photography equipment and supplies any photographer would need to be successful. Fun and substantive drawings will complete the time together. Register early for there is a limit on the number of seats available in the Electric Theater.
