On Location: Popular movies made in Washington County

Some of Hollywood’s greatest stars worked in movies that were filmed in Washington County, Utah. They included John Wayne, Robert Redford, Robert Mitchem, Clark
Gable, Susan Hayward, Gary Cooper, Marlon Brando,
Audie Murphy, Jane Fonda and many more. Over 125
movies were filmed here in the area. Several of those are block busters. Even James Bond, played by Roger Moore was filmed on location here in Washington County and around the world. Hundreds of TV commercials were also filmed here in red rock county.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Glen Blakley, who served on the Washington County Film Commission for 10 years, will show clips from some of these movies and talk about some of the special stories , plus
behind the scene moments.
