Film Screening and Discussion- You Were Never Lovelier

August’s theme is “Gotta Dance!”

This week’s film is You Were Never Lovelier with dance legend Fred Astaire, and his favorite hoofing partner Rita Hayworth.

“An Argentine heiress thinks a penniless American dancer is her secret admirer.”

• Showtime is 6 pm and after each screening, all will be invited to go into the downstairs conference room where a discussion of the film will be held. Meals from various local restaurants will be available for purchase at the discussions. Various scholars and critics will also be attending the screenings & discussions.
