September’s theme is “Twice a Classic: Book to Screen”

This week’s film is a sparkling and delightful take on a hardboiled detective story: The Thin Man.

“A husband-and-wife detective team takes on the search for a missing inventor and almost get killed for their efforts.’

• Showtime is 6 pm and after each screening, all will be invited to go into the downstairs conference room where a discussion of the film will be held. Meals from various local restaurants will be available for purchase at the discussions. Various scholars and critics will also be attending the screenings & discussions.
