March’s theme is “Between Two Worlds.”

This week’s film is the pure cinema experience from perhaps the greatest filmmaking duo in the history of film: Powell & Pressburger’s A Matter of Life & Death.

“When a young airman miraculously survives bailing out of his airplane without a parachute, he falls in love with an American radio operator. But the officials in the other world realize their mistake and despatch an angel to collect him.”

Showtime is 6 pm and after each screening, all will be invited to go into the downstairs conference room where a discussion of the film will be held. Meals from various local restaurants will be available for purchase at the discussions. Various scholars and critics will also be attending the screenings & discussions.
