Belinda Wire and Carla Avant will be making a presentation showing clothing of the 1850’s including timelines of fashion changes. Learning the specific ways that people got dressed and what it was like to have so many pieces of clothing.

Also, learn about making fabric from cotton and silk and how the ladies took care of their clothes with washing and ironing.
