Gunlock State Park is working to preserve and protect exceptional views of the starry night sky!
At this event, visitors will learn about the importance of dark skies and light pollution’s impact on humans and the environment. After a dark sky presentation, there will be opportunities to gaze at the Moon, galaxies, planets, nebulae, and other celestial objects through high-powered telescopes provided by park staff and volunteers from the University of Utah and the St. George Astronomy Group!
Meet at the Gunlock Marina Boat Ramp. Day-use fee applies to attend. Please dress warmly, it is expected to be COLD this evening!
