Washington City Veterans Day Celebration

Washington City leadership and staff would like to formally invite the community to attend the Veterans Day Celebration.

Please help honor and support the community’s Veterans for their service and dedication to this great country, as Francis Scott Key said “the land of the free and the home of the brave”.

There will be a parade down Telegraph Street with a short program immediately after. All Veterans who would like to participate in the parade are invited to do so! Please arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at the parking lot in front of the old Nisson’s Grocery store located at the corner of Main Street and Telegraph St where you will board shuttle wagons and join the parade at 11 a.m.
