Washington City leadership and staff would like to formally invite the community to attend this year’s Veterans Day Celebration on November 11th.

Please join them in honoring and supporting the military men and women for their service and dedication to this great country—‘the land of the free and the home of the brave,’ as Francis Scott Key so beautifully said.

There will be a parade down Telegraph Street, with a short program immediately after. All veterans who would like to participate in the parade are invited to do so! Please arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. at the parking lot in front of the old Nisson’s Grocery store, located at the corner of Main Street and Telegraph Street, where you will board shuttle wagons and join the parade at 11 a.m.
