Greater Zion’s Best Family Friendly Dining

Restaurants the Whole Family Will Love

A trip to Greater Zion often means family time. Our local foodie, @stg_eats on Facebook and Instagram is Greater Zion’s go-to for restaurant happenings, news, and reviews and provides us with this list of top dining destinations for families. These places are especially selected to accommodate the kiddos, parents, and grandparents, but are good for a group of friends too. Their accommodations are great, but so is the food. Enjoy the noshes and the family connections! Also, if you’d like to be in-the-know and receive recommendations on eating your way through Greater Zion, check out stg-eats.com, and give a follow to @stg_eats on Facebook and Instagram.

Not only do they serve customizable pizza, but pasta, salad and warm, twisted breadsticks (our favorite) and dipping sauces! Also a fun spot for birthdays because they’ll make a pizza in the shape of your age!

Cafe Sabor

Some of the best chips and salsa in town coupled with a fun kids menu and great options for adults as well. Don’t forget to stop by on Mondays when kids eat free.

Sakura

This hibachi grill restaurant is sure to entertain the whole family. Watch their talented chefs cook your dinner right in front of you. I’m not sure which is better – watching it being made or eating it!

This unique food truck has a permanent parking spot in Hurricane. Their menu features specialties from across the country. Enjoy your food at the tables there or walk across the street to the park. Also, don’t leave without their homemade pie!

Viva Chicken

This quick service Peruvian restaurant is a favorite in Southern Utah. We love their healthy, tasty menu! They make it easy to feed your whole group with their family meal packages.

Their claim to fame is their amazing seasoned fries, which are sure to delight everyone in your party.  We also love their Greek pita sandwiches made with their soft, homemade pitas.

Durango’s Mexican Grill

I love Durango’s, not only for the food, but also for the location. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy your meal outside in the courtyard. This quick-service Tex-Mex restaurant is a local favorite and serves salads, burritos, tacos, and quesadillas for the kids.

Street Eats

This fast, casual restaurant has a really fun vibe for the whole family. Street Eats has taken street food and put their own spin on it with some amazing ingredients and flavors. It’s an open kitchen, so you can even watch your meal being prepared. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu, but the Cruncher is one of our favorites. They also use high-quality meat for their juicy burgers. They feature a kids menu with their main dishes simplified.

Morty’s Cafe

Morty’s serves up some delicious burgers, fries, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast all day. They also have a kids’ menu, so it’s easy to find something for all ages. We are big fans of their specialty milkshakes and their scone fries! Try them with the raspberry cheesecake dipping sauce. Yum!

Zion Pizza & Noodle Co.

If you’re looking for a family spot in Springdale, this is a good choice because who doesn’t like pizza? They’ve got many pizzas from which to choose, including my kids’ favorite, “Boring Cheese Pizza,” as it says on the menu.

This classic Utah buffet is a great choice for the whole family. The kids will love all-you-can-eat mac and cheese, pizza and ice cream, while they’ve got a great salad buffet and hand-carved meats for the adults. All ages are sure to love the Utah scones and the yummy desserts too!
