Fireworks and festivities rule the day and our region offers many options, such as delicious food, an almost never-ending amount of outdoor adventures and the exciting events which are featured below.

To start your day, participate in the Uncle Sam 4K race. If you do, you’ll have the perfect excuse to eat whatever you’d like later on in the day! If you finish early enough, you can make it to downtown St. George early enough for the St. George City Parade at 7:45. The Parade will go down Tabernacle Street starting at 200 W and head toward and around Vernon Worthen Park ending on 200 S., so make sure you find a good place on the street to watch. And with any unforgettable Fourth of July celebration, there will be fireworks at 10pm!

It looks like it’s going to be a hot one, so during the day you should plan on diving into a desert oasis with these seven water adventures. Whether you’re adventuring, swimming, or just soaking up the beautiful sunlight on the red sand beaches, remember to keep hydrated.

And, whether you’re dining out or doing your own cooking on the grill, you can’t go wrong.

Cheers to the red, white and blue and the freedom we enjoy in Greater Zion and all across this wonderful country!
